I sit here, watching trees burn, And pieces of stars rejoin the sky.
The mountains weep under my gaze. And exhale of a god, Sends the world sideways. The tears of nature, Rejoining and replenishing her. The flash of anger, The flash of brilliance. The angry voice, Reverberating in my sternum. The puffy hair of a blue ocean, Drifting lazily by.
All is quiet and peaceful,
As I watch trees burn, And pieces of stars rejoin the sky.

The LieSitting with the wind in my ears, It all suddenly becomes clear. All my hopes and fears, Decide to give me an ugly leer.
The trees shout with protest As my thoughts slow down. My heart is at rest, With my body far out of town.
In a voice that made my cry, The rain began to fall from the sky. As an osprey glides up high, I begin to realize the lie.
I dance to another tune, One in a time with the call of the loon. For me it hasn't come to soon, Just like the approach of the full moon.

This account is now... how shall I put it... swept under the rug?

It's been over a year since I've posted something on here, and I've also stopped writing poetry (but I do when the mood strikes though).

So in short, don't expect a lot from here for... well... ever.
Until I decide to pick up another form of art.

P.S. Currently enamored w/ my guitar and writing songs/music with that (which I can't really post on DA (and I don't deem them post-worthy works yet either) ).

I'm also really busy focusing on school and triathlon training, so there are more excuses to add to the growing pile
